Opportunity – Development /Administrative Associate
DESCRIPTION: The Berkeley Public Library Foundation seeks a detail-oriented, tech savvy, self-starter to provide critical administrative support to all aspects of the Foundation’s largest fundraiser – the 15th Annual Authors Dinner & Auction on February 11, 2017. Working closely with the Executive Director and the Event Producer, the Development Associate oversees and/or performs various duties associated with organizing and operating the event. The ideal candidate has experience in event administration, fundraising, and donor relations. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, have the ability to prioritize, multitask in a fast paced environment, and work independently. This is a temporary position with flexible hours. Approximately 300 hours from November 1 – March 1. This job is ideal for someone who would enjoy supporting an exceptional leadership team of dedicated fundraisers.
