Library Fan Club

Set up a recurring donation of any size to become a part of our Fan Club! New members receive a tote bag and insider email updates to stay in the know about library news and happenings.

Rosa Shattuck Circle

The Rosa Shattuck Circle is our highest level of donors. Rosa Shattuck, a Berkeley pioneer who believed libraries change lives and make a community strong, secured the funding and donated the land for Berkeley’s first permanent public library in 1903. Rosa Shattuck Circle members are donors of $1,000+.

Stock Transfers

Gift of stock can be a great, economical way to support improvements and innovations at the Library. Stock transfers can be easily be accommodated. Check out our Stock Transfer Form.

Donor Advised
Funds (DAF)

Donor Advised Funds are an incredibly popular way to manage charitable giving. A DAF makes it easy for donors to dedicate funds to support their favorite nonprofit.

Legacy Giving

Your planned gift to the Berkeley Public Library Foundation can help ensure our Library will thrive for generations. Legacy gifts are added to our Generation Fund, for long term investment and growth. As part of the Legacy Society, you will receive substantial tax savings while extending the joy you have experienced at the Library to many others.
